Granted i will concede to a spirited fighting performance.

But Erimus said "2 formations" "stopping them scoring and us scoring".

Can you honestly saw last night we really looked like scoring? 1 or 2 scrambles maybe.

But my point remains.

If their keeper had got MOTM i would be more happier with the result. The fact our keeper was MOTM shows the frailties at the back.

I thought i would of been "called out" by now.

In "my head" there is no bigger Boro fan on this forum than me.

I have read some "sad" comments online about the commitment of some of the Boros fanbase.

I would give my right bollock to able to go to every game home let alone cups and aways.
But i simply cant afford tickets and travel.

So i "open" and pay for a board for Boro fans to chat about all things Boro. And if you notice i do not normally get involved with the Boro threads.

Why should my commitment as a Boro fan be called into question because i cant afford to go and watch my team?

Or is just paying and attending matches the real measure of a fan?

There are some fans out there that were moaning last week 'cos Chelsea was not sold out.

Totally agree with everything you said Erimus,on the concourse prematch the talk was let's hope we don't embarrass ourselves.At my half time pint it switched to we might do this.We played with commitment and heart and remember Emery had to bring his big guns on to see us off.Also don't forget we were playing a side second in the PL who have only lost twice in 20 games.Bring on Chelsea !! After constantly hearing comments regarding Sunderlands very young team I was wondering the average ages between them & the Boro's, a poster on oneboro replied & guess what, we have a younger team

Sunderlands startling linup yesterday average age was 23.5, ours was 23.2
Their oldest players were 30 & 29, ours were 27 & 26

Was proud of the lads me it was a great performance and very disciplined

I thought we set up really well, kept our shape & stopped one of the best, at present, PL, time & time again

Some people in the media & maybe some of our fans, think we were good enough to go toe to toe attacking wise with Villa, 5 goals conceded later on then realise it was a bad idea

Reading some comments on a Villa site about us been rubbish, crap, parking the bus etc, shows there lack of knowledge, what we did was a game plan that was well executed, worked perfectly & frustrated Villa throughout, basically they wernt good enough on the day to just play around us & score at will

Tomorrow night will be another massive test
