Loved smoking for years and would not listen to anyone about packing in. I only packed in 10yr ago because I was bad for a few days and thought give it a go, packing in more to please her indoors.

it really is the best thing I've done, food the lot tastes better you don't stink like those that smoke do and you can smell them when you've stopped. The price of them now also makes me think thank god I did.

It's worth wrapping mate, try patches as a start

I did not start smoking till i was 27. Marriage had ended i was homeless living in Albert Park and "ciggies" became my comfort instead of booze and i lost count of the number smackheads i chinned so class A's were never an option for me.

I "understand" smoking is obviously my "comfort blanket", more so now, and at the moment im not mentally strong enough to quit.

In the last 6 months i have lost about 4 inches of my waist and gut, i walk everyday, i try to eat as healthily as i can, stick the heavy bag up every now and then and work out my anger and frustration on that.

But i assure you quitting is on my to do list.

On the 1st of next month its 20 years sine the ban on smoking in pubs etc. But because of the taxation it raises we all know it will never be banned outright.

Fair enough due to what you've and going through. I will say despite the fact you are looking after yourself you will feel even better should you manage to knock them on the head. Like I said I would listen to know one so understand it's not that easy. So I will not preach to you any further.

My mate smoked for years, went to a counselling session ,/seminar,it lasted about four hours,he packed in immediately.never smoked again.l'll try and get the details for you.

Smoked for years in and off.  I has to quit last year due to a surgery but started on vaping instead.

I think it's actually worse as I can vape at my work desk or in my house without having to go outside like I would smoking.
