No chance we will win three on the bounce against these, it will be some going if we do but my thoughts are don't get whitewashed and look to salvage something from the series. Draws are now out of the game with England so it's won one or two or get whitewashed and knobbed 5.0.

Before a single ball was bowled on day 3 I said to a workmate this first session will define the whole series. Unfortunately, it played out even worse than I feared - and with it any chance of the urn staying at home probably disappeared well before lunch that day.
I can't be too critical of the selection though, I would've also gone without a specialist spinner.
The bottom line is we're outmatched in every department and no "Bazball" hype can paper over that.

Yes, Broady had a few digs at the Aussies, still a bit of old school left in the game, thank fuck.

That said Andrew Stauss showed his 'elitist' attitude with his comments about the Lord's crowd on day 5, it's not the usual crowd you see at Lords I noticed, the snobby bastard is proving the is a bit of naughtiness in the top end of cricket, he was the head dog of the England cricket team don't forget, as well as a once captain.

A good opening batsman I will give him that, or should that be 'batter'
