There isn't a bit of me that doesn't ache at some point in the day

Its called old age but its way better than the alternative

1 500mg Naproxen and 1 500mg Paracetamol sorts most things out I've found

Heard gout is a bad one to have, my mate gets it, said the pain is unreal. The co-cods have took the edge right off the pain, just feel like I could sleep for england now. Will get some physio if it keeps up next week.

Have a very sore back(bottom right) but don't know what is wrong-went to docs who think it's simply 'wear and tear' but sent me for X-ray and booking me in for MRI-hopefully it's nowt serious and will soon stop hurting

Could be a pulled muscle or light tear that Walker. Like me its a time will heal deal.

I had sciatica a few years ago for months' never known pain like it when at its worst' fuck all I tried did any good and spent all day on my feet because I couldn't sit down. Sometimes I was walking up and down my drive at 3 in the morning to try and relieve the pain. Driving was a  nightmare as well plus I wasted a fortune at a physio place that did no good at all.
My sympathies Red. 😩

Going back maybe about 12 - 13 years now, but I was really bad with my left leg. Some days could barely walk. The best example I could give is when I really struggled walking to the Riverside, was in agony. In the pub after the match, if I couldn't get a seat or find a space at the bar to lean on I'd just have to go home.
I even paid for someone to try sort it out, said she knew exactly what was wrong, booked me in for treatment on my leg and gave me exercises to do. Total load of bollocks, when docs finally got me in for a scan it turned out 2 discs in my spine had turned to a mushy mess with a load of nerves mushed in there.
Ended up having a discectomy. Was a bit of a battle back with rehab, but since then I've been visiting the gym and running.

maybe once a year or even two. People want to help I would use a gun to keep them away. Getting into bed is grim.

Painkillers are the answer

I thought I had it last year, turned out to be blood clots in my leg,I suppose the swollen leg I couldn't bend was a clue it wasn't sciatica. :ray:
On blood thinners for life now, what a bunch of decrepit old cunts we are. :carrick3:

I feel your pain, been off work 6 weeks with similar problem only in neck and shoulder , nothing helps , doc says medication might take 6 weeks to help !!!!

I had pain from my arse down to my foot' right leg. I ruptured a disc in my back and the jelly that seeped out pressed against the sciatic nerve' until the disc heals and the jelly goes back you're fucked. I still get a warning now and then with a twinge of pain usually running down to my calf and that's a cue to be careful. Nothing cures it apart from healing time or in extreme circumstances an operation.

Lo m8. Ive suffered from it off and on for years after riding a motorbike. Think I got to the cause. I thought it was the SI joint. Look it up. It maybe caused by Bursitis, which are little sacks around hip area and arse. Look up these issues lots of exercises for them.
What I'd starting tonight is lie on side in bed and put a cushion between knees. I sleep like this all the time now. Takes pressure off hips. Also run thumb around hip and inner leg. As though your massaging all around the hip joint. Your finger should almost go up your arse if so you're doing it right. Its hard to get the angle but persevere. Also drop leg out of bed so you're articulating your joint. Try these for a bit. See how you get on.

Had naproxen for a kidney issue. Was dog shit. Give me the codeine all day long. When in the hospital they gave me some liquid morphine, it was incredible stuff.

This is so true. There's always something aching. I can't remember when that became normal.
I wish I'd taken up yoga when I was still able to stretch and bend without holding onto something.
