Great Day

Yesterday was a great day for me.After 4 years of treatment and losing most of my bowel and one kidney my Oncologist has declared me in remission from Cancer.Thanks to the great staff of North Tees and our fabulous NHS.Now off to Northern Soul Revival Weekend at the end of the month in one of my favourite cities Hull.

Its refreshing to hear good news about someones health.

All we need now is Ebby to keep up his fight.

The old boy next door to me has just had his 3rd diagnosis of cancer. But the tenacity of the old duffer (he is a lovely "granddad" type fella really) never fails to amaze me.

I watched Carmen bravely fight her illness till the end.

The strength people show when faced with these things will never fail to amaze/inspire me.
