Drive to work on mainly B roads. 25 miles each way. Overtook a driver who was doing 40 on a 60 road. Road completely clear no issues. Safe overtake. Starts flashing his lights. Happened twice in two days.  :vyvyan:

Happened to anyone else?

They might be acknowledging your skilled and safe driving technique.
The equivalent of tapping a pool table after a good shot.

I have a feeling one day if we are not already driverless in cars, then we all have a black box or it's made mandatory to have our own cameras recording devices in a car.

As frustrating as this may sound I only overtake on a motorway now. Life is just too short as you get older to be clasping the wheel and overtaking on 'minor roads'. I get your frustration though we've all been and, done it

My car is already partially driverless on motorways/duals anyway and full control is in final beta in the US. Its nerve wracking to begin with!

It has 8 cameras and will record if anyone goes near it.

You can also get it to make a farting noise when passengers sit down.

The future is not so far away.....

Thanks, Mike. I get people driving well under the limit. What I don't get is the anger they display when doing a perfectly safe overtake then them taking a supposed moral high ground n flashing.  Nob heads.
