Growing up our Kev said to me when we're 10 we'll buy the No1 of the day

18 months later when our Kev was 10 he went out & bought

He beat me hands down

Son of My Father was the song that inspired my love of synth based pop which lasted for the next 10-12 years before the mobvement was hijacked by that Scott, Aitken & Waterman garbage.
Incidently, it wasn't even my favourite song of theirs...
