Criticism of referees on FMTTM

Banning the criticism of referees is being discussed as a possible rule on FMTTM for next season.
Suggested by Sherlock1969, endorsed by Admin.

To prevent dads attacking refs at kids games apparently.

To be fair it's not getting a lot of support but will be interesting to see where it goes.

Maybe if admin made it clear that posters show fellow posters respect in how they chose to live their life, their political views, what papers they read, the colour of their underwear then maybe, just maybe, the feel good factor could spill down to the board users, with well reasoned debates instead of picking when to name call & not so

When my son played junior football for 5, 6 seasons I very rarely missed watching him, during games I would encourage the team, not overshout his manager & at HT there wasnt many times when I didnt talk to the ref during the interval, just small talk, my son often commented on this.
I told my son regularly, at a young age, dont swear at the ref if he/she gives something against you & dont argue with them either, ever. I seen the way some parents shouted at the ref, or other kids & didnt want my son to see me doing likewise

The reason for my post is that I thought I acted in the right way, which is the right way, yet I am considered lower than low, a scumbag, child murdering thick, uneducated racist, for one reason only

Its ironic really, the person who started the post is the very same person who posted about a tory voter been a child murderer

Smalltime, who supported just stop oil protesters, yet wanted them beat up because they temporarily stopped his enjoyment of a rugby cup final match

One poster mentioned that he had a lot of time for one of his neighbour until he noticed one morning he bought the daily mail newspaper, what & don't get me started on what they said regarding Ken & Carmens passing

This makes for a better match day experience for everyone.
