I wonder what legal repercussions can come to users?

I'm not sure on the current laws but back in the day Torrents you could only be knicked for sharing the content not downloading.

ISPs would send you a warning which was completely pointless, I remember getting one for downloading a new Spiderman film, I replied with "I've noted your warning and deleted the file from my hard drive after I watched it, also it was shite by the way"

I got a warning letter about 18 months ago from Sky. Just telling me off really and not to do it again.
