Right, this is about where we stand as of June when loans end.
I've put in the players which would probably be our starters for now.
I put Brynn in to keep Lids happy.





To be fair, he may get his chance. The only competition at the moment is Roberts. Daniels is out of contract.
We will need a third keeper though.








The players I would move on:


Clarke, Dijksteel, Mcnair, Jones and Crooks.
Possibly Bola and Smith but I think they will be kept as squad players unless they ask to leave.
If Chuba is not up for a new contract then we need to cash that one in too.


Will Carrick be interested in having a look at Payero and maybe even Coulson?


For that starting eleven I think we need:

AM - Akpom?
AM - Someone who can unlock buses
CF - Big handfull

I see there is often a clamour for Coburn to lead the attack. I'm afraid I don't think he is good enough for Championship football.

Look at the second half of this season- he couldn't hold down a regular starting spot at Bristol Rovers!

He could have a career at lower levels in the league. The reality is we need a higher calibre of striker.

Coburn been 20? Tends to prove my point, Rifle. If he was any good he should have been ripping it up in League 1. His goal scoring started ok and tapered off.

That's a decent loan in my book he's had success and he's had struggle. It's all about experience not just scoring 40 goals a season for Bristol Rovers Nozzer.

Championship teams always have a big rebuild as half the starting line ups from the season before are usually loan players.

Hopefully Carrick and his contacts will help us get some decent loan signings again.

Would love to see Steffen back next season just to push Lids over the edge

Carrick has hinted before that there is some talent knocking on the door.
If they are good enough, he will give them a go.
