You've got a better memory than me for dates, I was standing at a bus stop near the museum with a couple of mates I was only 12/13 at the time waiting for the 263 bus as it was back then. When all we saw, and all said at the same time look at all them n***** as you would say back then before anyone starts, lots of them tracksuited up which was in at the time. It was obviously the Birmingham lot(maybe 100/150 of them) coming out of St Barnabus Road and it was the most blacks I had seen in a group apart from on tele at the time. It was also my first account of watching football violence live in the flesh.

THEY CLEVERLY GOT OUT OF THE ESCORT AND AWAY FROM OLD BILL 👍 ABOUT 30 SECONDS AFTER THAT PHOTO WAS TAKEN 2 POLICE HORSES CHARGED UP THE ROAD SPLITTING BOTH MAIN GROUPS UP... WE HEADED LEFT AND RE GROUPED ON THE ROAD BEHIND THE DORMAN MUSUEM ADJACENT TO ALBERT PARK... WHEN THEY CAME PAST THE CENOTAPH WE ATTACKED THEM AGAIN... IT WENT OFF ALL THE WAY UP LINNY RD BACK TO THE STATION 👍💪💪💪👍 THE ZULUS GOT RESULTS AT MOST AWAY GROUNDS BUT NOT AT AYRESOME PARK 😉
