Still cant believe little Boro got to a major European cup final
This day 2006 is a day that will live in the memory of every Boro fan

The Boro got to the UEFA cup, a final that us Boro fans thought, impossible, to even dream of witnessing & more amazing, the cup final was played 11 days short of 20 years since the Boro went in to voluntary liquidation & what a journey it had been from 1986 to 2006, just think for a moment, write down on a note pad whet the club have done since that summer of 86

On the day itself, 10th May 2006, a group of us travelled to Eindhoven & apart from two of us, the others all had tickets, we had to hope someone would sell us a ticket to one of the biggest games in the Boro's history
Without going in to much detail, me & one of lads without tickets made our way to the ground, still ticketless, where I had agreed to meet our Kev outside the stadium 5 minutes before kick off, which I did, as our lad started to walk to the ground he passed one of his big mates, they missed each other due to the amount of fans milling around the stadium, this lad & his mate came over to us two & asked if we had a ticket for the game, when I said no, they handed their tickets to us both, didn't want any money in return for the tickets, all because of who my brother was
We then legged across to the turnstiles & got in as the teams were about to kick off, we couldnt believe it
