Seems like they've drafted in another useless cunt as manager.

I don't think they will recover until Fernandez is shown the door. Good player at times but everything has to go through him.

ZiEgE

Bit harsh, he's only just got through the door. It took a season and a half for Arteta to work his magic. A season for Guardiola....

I have to say there is some schadenfreude watching them at the moment.

Kippers

They've gone for another Hollywood appointment rather than saying ' you know what, Van Nistelroy knows Utd inside out'

An expensive overpaid fractured squad that could be in real danger of siding into obscurity again.

Until Fergie arrived they were a first division, now PL, team who only really challenged for the cups, the league always out of their reach
Countless managers came & went trying to win the first division they'd not won since 1967
Then Fergie arrived in 86 & slowly changed the whole structure of the club to winnl the holy grail in 89 champions of not only England but later Europe & more, dominating the PL for years then he was gone
I was saying Fergie is/was that good that as soon as he goes Man Utd will revert back to how they were before Fergie arrived, cups will become their only trophies they'll win for the foreseeable & long may it continue
Players he signed, teams he rebuilt he was some manager, to me him & Cloughy the best in my time

Now its great seeing them become a midtable team, as they were prior to Fergie arriving & no matter who they bring in will continue as they are, brilliant, 🤣👌

If Munich hadn't have happened, Sir Matt Busby's team would've been dominant.

They had won 7 league titles previous to SAF coming in, it would've been another 2, 3, 4 on top.

Football has changed, United will be back but they won't dominate as previously.

Football is cyclical. Once upon a time United were a second division side.

The European super league will change everything anyway. And if you think that won't happen you're naive.

Oh it'll happen, the powers to be want it & aren't bothered who they upset to get it, I would welcome it too

Not interested in international football, european football, PL, just the Boro

So you have interest in the PL, but if Boro get promoted you'll be singing from the rooftops, up the Boro, the Boro are going up.

It's only because the club have been mediocre for the last decade or so.

That's what I don't get with some Boro fans, and other football club fans, the chip on the shoulder regarding the Premier League.
The club has ambitions to get back to the top, win a trophy, get in to Europe.

Tell me you hated the carling cup win? Tell me you hated Eindhoven after entering via a PL position?

Tell me you hated, Ravanelli, Juninho, Boksic, Karembeau, Mendietta, Zenden, Ziege, Emerson, Southgate, Big Ugo, Viduka, Jimmy Floyd......... all financed through being in the premier league.

The premier league giving little clubs of today like Blackpool, Luton, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Reading etc a chance to dine at the top table.

Look at Brentford, Forest and Bournemouth and tell me the premier league is bad.

It may not last for decades like other clubs but at least they're getting a go and having a bloody good go at it.

So again, if you are against the PL, will you give up your Season Ticket if the Boro go up?

Can't blame the manager at this point. He's not going to be able to sort that shit show out in a few weeks. He's spotted some bad eggs like Rashford and Garnacho and already looks like he's going to wipe them all out for a major rebuild.  but like Fergie said it takes 3 years to build your team. If successful managers like Moyes, Mourinho, Van Gaal, Ten Hag and Rangnick have struggled it's not the managers,it's a top to bottom issue. The players are chancers and not your Rooneys, Giggs, scholes, Keane types. They were driven winners. What they have now are not and the pressure of being a United player if you're not mentally at the highest level, it's too big for you as it comes with major pressure. I don't think Ratcliffe is going to help and he's already shown he's maybe not what is required when you look at the Ashworth situation. Total farce. He's also not qualified to put himself as one of the main men in recruitment. He wouldn't let Harry Maguire run his HR department for Ineos as he's not qualified to do it, so I'm not sure why he thinks he can handle player recruitment.
