There were at least three top quality saves from Pickford and at vital moments in the game.

It was a good game to watch and felt Jones did well and deserved his goal.  Hall looked ok at left back and can see him in the next squad.

I was expecting the worst when I saw the line up but was pleasantly surprised. Good to see Pickford proving the doubters wrong and Jones playing well.
Also actually playing a left footed left back in the second half Louis Hall.

I saw some highlights and England looked good.  Who knew that playing players in their natural positions (and not just trying to cram as many as possible "big names" in) and who are fit and in form are good ideas.
