We have American Mink 'round here.

They are supposed game as eff aint they?

Yes, they're nasty fuckers. Wiped out most of the indigenous river bank wildlife when they turned up.
They were released or escaped from mink farms when they were made illegal in 2000.
They have no natural predator here and wreak absolute havoc.
I've personally shot half a dozen or so in culverts across our land and the local shoot have been taking them out too. We've actually now got some moorhens and water vole coming back to the Lower Derwent Valley again.

I did a Beeline bus trip to Lambton Lion Park.
