Can honestly say there was nowhere near as much aggro back then on a night out like it is now.

"Back in my day" you knew who was who and what was what. And you certainly knew who you could turn your back on in a boozer!.

And the coppers! At least they used to get stuck back in and give as good they got. If that didnt work out at least you knew you were gonna get a kicking in the back of the van or the cell. And cos you knew it you accepted it. Even plod knew the crack.
