I detested getting calls from nonces at Samaritans.

Childline phones were down for 48 hrs once so Sams got calls from kids. Not a regular occurence for kids to ring Sams.

I took a call from a 12 yr old boy.

What that kid was going through tore me apart.

I wanted to jump in my car and find the kid to make him safe.

How can any kid think what was happening to him was "normal?".

Years later i here that call clear as a bell in my head still.

It was the only time in 8 years as a Sam i ever broke cover on a call.

Nonces and noncing nobody will silence me on..

I hope amongst hope that kid left our call and realised it was not "normal" what was happening,it was not his fault and he needed to tell people who would help and protect him to make it stop.

I tried every trick and "fiddle" i knew to trace that kids whereabouts.

I felt we "connected". I felt the kid started to trust me. I just wanted to get that kid and and show him not all men wanted to hurt him and some men would happily go to jail to protect from these fucks (to call them human or even animals is an insult to humans and animals).
Man i hope that kid is safe....

You dont have "convos". I found on the  occurence i took them calls once they heard a male voice they fucked off.

Years ago Sams had a dedicated  what can only be described as the "wank line".
The amount of fucked up perverts that ring Sams to hear a female voice is sickening tbh.
