For me the mother of all seasons

The mighty Boro come from behind to beat Luton Town 2-1 at Ayresome Park, me & our Kev stood in the boysend, with our dad stood in front of us, separated by a 3 foot plus wall

Following his sending off away to Carlisle United, that our dad took me & our Kev to, Graeme Souness was serving the first of his 2 game ban
Jack handed the No4 shirt to a 17 years old Tony McAndrew to make his debut, becoming the 496th registered Boro player to play for the Boro (My stats not the official clubs numbers)

An opposing players name I will never forget, Barry Butlin, scored Luton's goal in the 22nd minute to put our visitors one nil up & that's how it remained as the teams left the field at half time, the Boro players won't have been looking forward to meeting big Jack & his crate of milk bottles in the changing room.
To date, Luton's goal was the 5th we had conceded at Ayresome Park, we conceded a total of 8 home goals that season

Within 4 minutes in the second half normal service had been resumed.
51st minute - Alan Foggon, his 4th of the season, to level the game
55th minute - David Armstrong doubled his seasons account to to put the Boro in front & win the game

Our 15th game of the season, with just the one defeat to show so far
