Yes, in that order too.

Johnny Thunder

Platty has always been my favourite keeper, but I think Skippy is the best we've had in my time.

ZiEgE

Stephen Pears was our keeper when I was a kid. Did he get an England cap or was in like England B? (Remember when that was a thing)

BoroRedKen

JP everytime.

Pears was solid.

Skippy the best of the new style keepers.

Not a patch on this keeper though.....

Crossley played 25 games for us.
Schwarzer played 366 games for us.

For the two seasons they were both Boro players the manager and coaches at the club all agreed Schwarzer was the better keeper.

Liek Jon Snow, you know nowt.

Bout 10 year or so ago I was talking to Colin Cooper / Hartlepool, Said on one or two occasions during Boro matches back then he had to go in goal halfway through matches after the Boro keeper was sent off said he had 100% record too for clean sheets in goal  :rudi: Did you ever see this Erimus ?

Found a little bit on it  :rudi: Keeper had to leave for stitches cooper went in goal.

Middlesbrough defender Colin Cooper enjoyed a spell in goal after Boro goalkeeper Stephen Pears had to leave the field for stitches against Aston Villa 87/88 season.

Yeh I remember that match

Villa had some team that season but we ran them all the way to the final game

It was the first second division game to be shown live. :cloughy:
I'd forgotten coops went in goal for that match. And it was disgraceful when they dropped crossley when Skippy came back, I remember the crowd booing the decision when the team was announced.
