As far as I can see this fella attended a protest outside a hotel housing immigrants. 

He held a sign (the writing on which even his trial judge said was OK) and he shouted provocative stuff at the police.  He committed no actual violence but was supposedly "revving up" others who were violent.  He was sent down for over two years for "violent disorder".  That seems insane to me - these sentences need a full review.  Why did he plead guilty?  No doubt he felt forced to avoid a potentially longer sentence.

The politicization of the legal system is NOT OK by any side.  It is solely designed to quell protest.  Most protested, most did not riot.  This stinks to high heaven, never mind the underlying double standards and two tier policing.

Pleading guilty is the only option otherwise the risk is a guilty at Crown Court and the sentences would be doubled.

I was told a guilty at CC would have resulted inat least 9 months custody and i would of been remanded in custody.

I took the chance of 1 guilty and 1 not guilty.
I was "lucky". I knew what i was about to do. I knew,after 3 years of fighting, that my day was up.

That is why people pleaded guilty.

No mitigating circumstances are taken at "conviction".

Once a guilty was accepted there was no time for pre sentencing reports.

There is no "normal" thinking person who can say that these "crimes" and sentences are worse than peados not getting any jail time.

How can non violent words and actions be worse than pictures of kids being abused?.

Are we expected to believe that the likes of Mr Lynch and Mrs Connelly actually "incitied" anybody?.
