Watching that goal over and over it's the best header I've seen for a long time

Totally different feeling after the Bristol farce, bring on Norwich

Those three were my top picks too. And all credit to Wilder for keeping Moore on the pitch for as long as he did - he barely got a kick.

Good man management bringing Lath on later rather than starting him. Meant the pressure was off him a bit, he got a great reception when he came on and he got his reward.
Massive confidence boost getting a result against - allegedly - the best defence in the championship.
Lineup wise, I'd do the exact same thing for Norwich. Start Conway, bring Lath on later. Edmundson and McGree would be my first two names on the team sheet.

I'm glad all you daft cunts who bet against the Boro threw your money away. Pricks.

What a fucking win. And what a performance.

If I hadn't seen the Leeds match on Friday, I'd have been tempted by them odds like. Felt like Wilder was playing for a nil nil second half. Shite performance by them. Top drawer from Us.

Clem Fandango

McGree had a good game but he spends most of his time in the middle and not staying out left.

Not having a presence on the left is a recurring problem for us and unbalances the team - clogging up the right and making us too predictable/ easy to defend.

erimus74

Buzzing for ELL, fingers crossed that kick starts his season, for me he's been playing really well, not letting defenders settle with his goal attempts been the wrong side of the post, except for last night, when, did you see the curl on the ball when he headed goalwards, the finishing was awesome

erimus74

Sure Azaz, who for me, blew hot & cold, was given MOTM due to his superb ball for the goal, whereas Edmundson was awesome throughout & never put a foot wrong, or gave the ball away

WE PLAYED WELL AND GOT THE LUCK ON THE NIGHT FOR A CHANGE....2 GOOD CLEARENCES BY THE DEFENCE TO STOP CERTAIN GOALS...EDMUNDSON MADE UP ON THE NIGHT FOR HIS MISTAKE IN THE PREVIOUS GAME....WE EVEN HAD A DECENT REF FOR A CHANGE 👍👍👍

LATH TOOK HIS GOAL WELL AND AZAZ FOR ME SHADED MAN OF THE MATCH FROM THE HIGHLIGHTS I HAVE SEEN...FORSS  ???

FUCK KNOWS WHAT'S GOING ON THERE AS WE STILL SHORT OF GOALS....CONWAY REALLY DIDN'T DO IT FOR ME AND STILL HAS A LOT TO PROVE....EXPECTED MORE FROM SHEFF UTD BUT HEY FUCK EM....LET'S HOPE CARRICK KNOWS NOW MCGREE HAS TO START EVERY GAME HE CAN 👍👍👍

STILL A LONG WAY TO GO THOUGH...

SKY GAVE HIM MOM....

WAS A BIT DISAPPOINTED IN DIENG....AYLING HAD TO CLEAR A SHOT OFF THE LINE THAT DIENG SHOULD HAVE SAVED....IF THAT HAD WENT IN COULD HAVE BEEN A DIFFERENT GAME 👍

Azaz had some lovely touches but Edmundson was excellent throughout the night, should rightly keep his place & goes back home against his former neighbours
ELL will be buzzing this morning, he'll most likely stay on the bench as Conway nedds time to adjust but that great headed goal will lift a weight off his shoulders

I've said all along he's been unlucky & genuinely belive that

borope

Sat sat right behind when the goal went in. What a celebration by the full team as well they where so pleased for ELL.

The goal was worthy of winning any match. Playing at times adds fluidity and that improves our pattern of play immeasurably.

Like the Southampton away headed goal last season, a clinical finish, he was unlucky with his header v West Brom, his heading ability is very good

Bit of praise for Carrick who has took a fair bit of stick, from me too. I really want him to succeed here & now he really needs to go on a run of wins, get into the playoffs & remain there, without being consistent in scoring I know its essier said than done but last night proved we have it in us to boss teams, converting our chances has already cost us big this season

Commentators last night talking about us challenging top two if we get our goalscoring act together

A win makes such a mass difference to our day

I said we'd win and win at Norwich on Saturday. Then we'll play Coventry and QPR expecting to win and lose  :rudi:

The lesser teams we need to play ugly if we have too, and get the winning momentum going. This win a few lose a few, is busting my brain. What brain Red I hear you cry  :rudi:

Kippers

That level of intensity needs to be maintained if we are to have any ambition this season.
Got to stop the defencive strolling around and casualness.

Michaels Carrick today celebrates 2 years at the Boro, 100th game last night with 50% win ratio,

I think we all agree with the second part of that sentence.   :rudi:

Let's face it if LL hadn't scored his wonder goal Boro would be getting pelted for missing good chances yet again.  We rode our luck (for once) but underlying problems were still there.

- Get it in the net when we create a good chance
- Stop fucking about at the back (Dieng had another poor performance which has swiftly been forgotten with a good result)
- Fix the left side
