That'll count for very little in the grand scheme of things. They're cleverly playing right leaning parties off against each other - and when their media partners at Sky, ITV & BBC go into overdrive then theres their natural Liberal bedfellows waiting to cosy up to them, not forgetting the payback from asylum granted Islamic hoards, many more years of ruinous socialism awaits.

Everyone has their breaking point, and the more misery you pile on the people the stronger the opposition becomes. Look at National Rally in France along with the Party For Freedom in Holland, and not forgetting Brothers Of Italy with Meloni in charge. The AFD in Germany, all parties at the start of their life given no chance from their creation, but all on the charge in such a short space of time. Labour keep this up for 5yrs, it's a straight shootout between Reform and the Tories in my opinion. Who the fuck would vote for the Tories though, given that KB won't leave the ECHR and RJ being a Remainer.

It's shit mate and Labour are only getting started unfortunately. I say, let them make themselves so unelectable the split between Tory/Reform voters won't make a difference. Farage has said he's going after traditional Labour voters, and he'll get them the way things are going.

BoroRedKen

So i lose my 25%?. As well as "punished" for daring to live in a house with 2 bedrooms?.

A 22 billion "blackhole"? But how much have they borrowed to pay their union masters for helping them secure no10?.

The budget is going to screw single people, pensioners and ANYBODY (regardless of tie colour!) whom dares to have the nouse to save a little bit.

Even the "14 years" trope is wearing thin.

Strong rumour they are reducing the 25% tax free lump sum from private pensions, and i think they'll include private pensions in inheritance tax assets ( currently not included) and increase the forty percent tax rate for inheritance tax, meanwhile the boats still come..

I'm sorry erimus74 but your kids would have had a worse future with the Tories in power for another four years.  They've destroyed the NHS in the hope they could sell it off to their mates.

The future is unwritten but the present is pretty fucking bleak with these in office.Starmer is not a politician he's a middle manager and not a very good one.Reeves, Starmer and Raynor filling up on freebies while others feel the pain is  like the worst excesses of the tories. They are coming down on the very people they are meant to represent. :wankers:

Labour raiding pensions will not get any scrutiny or criticism from their ideologically obsessed younger voters who seemingly hate old people - who apparently are all swimming in cash.  They forget it will impact them soon enough though - they will be old someday (and forget that many old people living on a fixed income are in no way wealthy).  Plus they will get fuck all in inheritance.  Turkeys voting for Christmas.

Why should anyone bother working or saving to support themselves in the future?  Just sit back and be given freebies from the magic money tree because that never ever runs out of money.

Norman, I respect your posts and you as a poster. Can't be arsed to research but hasn't the National Health Service received record funding?

The undeniable fact is whatever is spent on the NHS is never enough.

Treatments that years ago are now been used to save/extend lives. Technology is pretty advanced through scanners and initiatives that cost a bob or two.

Labour is quickly finding out as opposition you can say what the he'll you want. In power you need to make decisions and action them.

They haven't got to grips with this. And unless they fo this quickly more grief will endure.

Hound

When I saw 8.4 Million people, I thought that was going to be the amount of "extra" people using the NHS over the last 10 years, but it's probably having no impact whatsoever, depending on where you look.

tunstall

I've heard the plan has been scrapped?
