Mind numingly boring international break coming up next weekend & its only monday
To think its only October with this being the second break & there's still one more to come next month, 😳😔

I hate everything about this, when real football has to stop to allow an unitresting football match, or matches, to go ahead

To be honest, without googling, I havent the faintest idea, or interest who England are to play, or in what tournament, or friendly, for that matter

Yet, I & thousand of real foitball fans have to suffer a whole two weeks with no Boro match to look forward to & to add insult to injury, England wont benefit through it either

All football fans should have a vote on whether this utter boring stop/start should become a thing of the past, get back to real football every weekend & as was the case in the 70's, play tournament football midweek, between league fixtures, yep 100%

I feel the same G.

I find myself watching the gee-gees more than footy lately.
Maybe its time to accept the modern game has "moved on" and the bits we maybe enjoyed, the tribalism, the sing songs and chants, the "banter", are now a thing in football's past.

I miss not been allowed on a Saturday for 90mins to "detest" Leeds, The "N" word (not that 1!) and Blunderland.

Just for that 90 mins (well tbh its about 110mins now!).

Monday to Friday im cool and would not even think of not liking someone because they support the Mags.

But "my right to detest" was 90 mins on a Saturday.

Kippers

RL Grand Final on Saturday.
That will do for me.

Well at least you have something to look forward to Kippers, 👍

Sadly true Ken

These breaks were brought in to allow players to get together and supposedly improve our national teams. Has it really made any difference? I think normal league games could all be played on the Saturday and these meaningless internationals could be played over consecutive Wednesdays.

100% & that is the reason for my post, as I stated at the bottom of my post, have England actually benefitted, no.

fukyu

Football is shit these days and var needs binning.

erimus74

VAR is the worst thing introduced into football, absolute abysmal

ZiEgE

Football sold its soul to Satan in 1992.

BoroRedKen

Quite nerdy i know but the VAR in FM2024 does my head in. Nearly every goal is challenged.

Got 4 chalked off in the 1st half vs Wycombe (as Boro.).
🤬🤬
