Think he is well on the way to being the most despised politician ever .

He really seems to think his legal training is helping him avoid answering the tricky questions which is doing just the opposite, his arrogance and hypocrisy knows no bounds

Nosmo-King

Weak, insipid, easy to influence, changes mind very easily- some of his endearing features.......

It was reported he had an affair with a former Darlington MP who won damages when accused of said affair.
If Sadiq Khan replaces him, we are fucking doomed.

WOW, that is a bold statement after the shower of shite we've just got rid of.  How posters on here can defend the Tories after they decimated this area is beyond me.  One or two of you need your bumps feeling.

Anyone remember being told to lockdown whilst Johnson and co partied or why his mate went for an eye test in Barnard Castle?

Or should we ask why all their cronies were gifted PPE contracts worth millions when they had no experience in this field?

Or should we ask why we were lied to regarding Brexit and what happened to all the millions we would pump into the NHS.

Why they removed homeless people's tents and made rough sleeping a fineable offence?

Why they ignored the huge growth of foodbanks (from approximately 270 in 2012 to 2,800 in 2023 (Trussell
Trust and other sources). The emergence of school food banks adds a further 4250.

We can go back further afield and ask why Thatcher closed Smith's Dock when it had four boats on the stocks and another four boats on the order books that ended up being built in Poland.  We are the only island that doesn't build ships.

The worst politician my arse.

The Tories were terrible but had to deal with two huge events during their tenure Brexit and COVID.  no party would come out of that without making mistakes and being criticized to fuck.

In a few short months unbelievably Labour have been even worse but had to deal with... um... er....

And what was Kier doing during lockdown?  The fucking same as Boris.  They are all as bad as each other and across the West/ globe.  We need a purge.

Give over Clem, the Tories took us into Brexit and have made a right pig's ear of it.

How do you square up the food banks and the lack of funding for the NHS.  You also failed to answer why they squandered millions on PPE and allowed their friends and families to get rich from it.

You certainly did but I am sure that accolade goes to Margaret Thatcher and closely followed by Liz Truss, Boris Johnson, Jacob Reece-Mogg, Suella Braverman, Priti Patel, Dominic Raab and 20p Lee Anderson.

I said "the Tories were terrible", maybe you missed that bit.  I also said Labour have been awful - why can't you admit that part?

Can you imagine how labour would have handled Brexit and the pandemic?  It doesn't bear thinking about.  They are a bunch of shower of shit ideologists who have zero focus on real life matters that impact EVERYONE ie the economy, law and order and national security etc.  Most people only voted for them because they were rightly fed up with the Tories.

Let's see what further mess they make of the NHS - if you think they will improve it you are horribly deluded.

If it wasn't clear in my first post I support neither side - politicians the world over are self serving incompetent liars and we need a huge reset.

It seems I am deluded because I believe we will see improvements in the NHS.  Labour have already agreed pay rises with hospital staff and prevented further strikes.  This should help eat into the waiting lists.  The Conservatives refused to engage with the unions.

Regarding Brexit, I am against Brexit as it's prevented me from moving abroad when I retired and I would like to think that Labour wouldn't have gambled on their popularity like Cameron did and shoot the country in the foot.  The less said about Brexit the better.

How Labour would handle the Pandemic, it is a hard one to judge how Labour would have handled it but I do feel there would have been more scrutiny when handing out contracts for PPE.

I do believe the heating allowance is an own goal for Labour but do feel there are many OAPs who don't need the allowance but a lot more that do and should be means tested at a higher level.

I don't think Labour are terrible and believe we need to give Labour time before we judge them, I just hope I'm not coming back here in four years time eating humble pie.

No doubt Keirs popularity will drop a little further at the end of the month after the budget, I just feel sorry for the poor auld fuckers that voted for him, my dad going to lose his winter weather payment and now he lives alone might have another little surprise if the council tax discount gets binned.
