- Another year with a large turnover of players - it takes time to bed them in but we have got going a bit better than last year.  That said, it puts us on the back foot every season.
- Our style of play and team set up is very predictable for the opposition.
- We don't seem to have a Plan B when we reach stale mate in games.
- Subs always come on too late.
- We need to drop lightweight passengers (eg Azaz, Barlaser).
- Fix our left side.
- We've had some bad individual errors that have hurt us so far this season - hopefully they won't be repeated.
- Injuries have definitely hampered our development as a team though.
- I think we have the players to do well - if we don't it's primarily down to the manager and coaching staff - the tactics and in game changes are currently not good enough.

Without putting to much pressure on Carrick he's now got everything in place to mount a genuine top two challenge & if, like a few years back, we fall short then the playoffs should be secured, whether he's actually got it time will tell

I'm not so sure about Carrick, Erimus. I don't think he can cut it.At best we are treading water. Whilst some would cite our league position as OK we have arguably the best squad since Carrick arrived.

Whilst stubbornness can be an asset it can also be a negative. And this is a problem- a big one- with Carrick.

These are the big ones for me. Trying to think of a single game where he's made a change at anything less than the 65 minute mark (apart from where someone's obviously crocked). Can't think of one.

As much as I wanted Neil Warnock here, Michael Carrick has brought football Ive not seen for a number of years, yes he's making mistakes but in a job he's only been in short of 3 years he's still learning & I've never bought into that a bigger team could tempt him away, will he get there, who knows

As said a few times im happy him learning here as long as we progress, on saturday it was two different Boro's, if we convert our chances its a big comfortable win & the mood among the fans is different, once they equalised then its the old story that we cant break teams down, small margins & if MC overcome this then a top 2 could be interesting
