I met him in a pub. It was only me and him in there I think. Nice and quiet. He mentioned he was in a band but couldn't tell me who it was.. he said I would have definitely have heard of them.. but he couldn't tell me because I would have blabbed and he didn't want to be bothered. Fair enough.. I wouldn't have blabbed but he didn't know me from Adam and I bet he gets loads of grief. Proper sound fella. I probably looked like a right plank not recognising him.

I agree he was a really pleasant fella on this train, Just some bloke trying to read a book who kept getting pestered all the way there and he sat there and chatted away to people. I thought he would get pissed off with it all but he was sound with people. SG says how could I ask the main guitarist of one  of the worlds biggest heavy metal rock bands if he was in a like boy band pop group

The actor Jamie Bell was in a pub I was in years ago.. I was fucking mortal. Anyway I recognised him from school.. couldn't quite remember his name but remember knocking about with with as a kid.. so I went over to say hello.

YEAH, I'D SEEN HIM ON BILLY ELLIOT I HAD NEVER MET THE CUNT OR DANCED DOWN THE COBBLED BACK STREETS WITH HIM AT ALL.

FFS possibly the only time I have ever been embarrassed in my entire life.. I tried to cover my mistake by pretending I was speaking to the guy behind the bar.. fuck me.. the guy or lass behind the bar was right at the other end.. so I just stood staring at the end of the bar for fucking ages waiting for them to get back. just stood next to Jamie Bell with all his actual real life friends.

When I was at college a friend of mine introduced me to her dad.  We chatted and had a laugh for about 10 minutes (about footie I think).  Anyway, afterwards a lad I was with, who had been very quiet throughout, said he couldn't believe he had met him.  I had no idea what he was on about.

Turns out the dad was Rick Wright the keyboard player in Pink Floyd.  Nice fella.
