Fixed it for you,
Don't fuck about with court injunctions,
I met lads doing 2 year stretches for breaking court injunctions, absolutely mad.

BoroRedKen

Been following this guy's story.

The sad thing is i aint shocked or surprised by it.

It's really not hard to just respect someone's choice and just say "they". I'd be so embarrassed to lose my job for refusing to say a word.

If you can't say it simply don't address them in a way where you need to use their pronouns... or use their name.

I sent someone an email at work and when they replied the first thing they said was "it's AJ" not Alison, her name was something like Alison Julie Scott, (not her real name)
Chatty bitch, now I don't even bother with the niceties, I just crack straight on with what i have to say.

Thanks

But that is putting 1 ideology above another surely?.

1 thing will never change.

In 1000's of years if skeletons are dug up it wont be they, them, he/she et etc.

It will still be only male or female the skeleton....

I don't think they'll care by the time they're a skeleton. I personally don't really understand non binary or identifying as they/them, but I'm not a cunt (at least in my opinion 😂) so I'll happily address someone with their preferred pronouns!

The internet is a disease, we see extremists from every single group all the time and people get such bad opinions and perceptions of things. If people met in real life they'd probably have much different opinions.

Adults can choose to be whatever they want, that's fine.  But I should also be able to choose to recognize that or not.

I will never recognize a biological woman as a man or as a plural.  It is mental illness and I refuse to pander to it.

Meh I dunno. I like being nice to people. I have a colleague who identifies as they/them. They're polite, kind, great to talk to, they don't call people out ever if they get their pronouns wrong by accident, I wouldn't ever refer to them as the wrong pronoun because I like them, and why would I be a dick just because I believe in something different. That's just my opinion though!

I just disagree with purposely being a cunt to people who in reality haven't done anything wrong, if it was mental illness - then I guess nobody chooses to be mentally ill.

I will call people whatever they like and treat everyone with respect but my
Views on trans would get me cancelled  I think most of it is mental health especially when it's happening to kids

When I was at school we just had goths etc. I feel like it's the same group of kids who now are confused about their sexuality, all part of learning who you are though I guess.

There is something to this.  Which is why I am dead against irreversible treatment to under 18s.

People crave attention.  Kids messed up with raging hormones, social media etc more than most.

Really?

OK, I identify as your lord & master. You will refer to me as 'Sir' or 'My Lord and Master'.

Will you obey? Or are you a bigot.

They're not recognised as pronouns, but if that's your preference I'd probably avoid any use of language where I had to use your pronouns, or just refer to you as your name.

Yeah I'm on the same page there, have seen a few online creators who make content about detransitioning as adults, it's interesting, would never have been a thing when we were kids, totally unheard of.

Would be really interesting to see if there's any trends showing how many people detransition over the next 30 or so years, and how much it costs the NHS.

Not that I have any issues with people exploring their identity, but it's just changed a hell of a lot since I was young.

I do genuinely believe that in some cases if people who were confused about their gender were offered some intense therapy, they'd potentially become more comfortable in the body they were born with.
