I worked in Madrid and Northern Spain one week in three for 13 years. I sometimes took the wife with me.

These blokes were greasy and fat. I know fat because I am too. You know when lads talk loudly, they did.

They gave far too much detail. I think they had been a few times.


I know 99 pc of Thailand is not like that, but was immediately off our bucket list.

A lot of the working girls in Thailand do it for one reason and one reason only. To earn money to send to their families to support them.

In Thailand if you haven't a job there's no benefits system like here.

Not condoning it at all - just a fact. It can be very hard to live in Thailand.

And a lot of the population is both deeply embarrassed and ashamed at the image the country gets/ has as it is just a really small section of society that serves in the sex industry.

Agreed. Haven't been to Dubai recently but it was awash with prostitutes targeting hotel bars. Eastern European, African and Asian.The hotel we stayed at was free of prostitutes - and it proved to be a haven to escape them!

I think they're naive and have little class. All the "empowerment" around getting your tits out on the internet is insane to me.
