I assume you all will have seen it, for those that haven't, a black bloke and a white bloke have a confrontation. The black guy pulls out a knife and slices the White man's neck open.

The black man has been arrested and charged.....wait for it....

Not attempted murder
Not attempted manslaughter
Not GBH
Not ABH
Not a racial hate crime

Wounding and possession of a knife.

Keir Starmers two-teir criminals justice system once again.

One law for White Britons, another law for every one else.

Keanu_Reeves

Well the prisons are full as daf cun Starmer has admitted - he's basically given a green light to every crank out there that they can do what they like with no real consequences, and they're taking full advantage of it

spottygiraffe (Moderator)

Jesus Christ, this is why confrontation is just never worth it these days. Too many cowards carrying knives.

What's it to do with Kier Starmer? Do you expect him to judge every arrest?

Hound

Wounding charge is still up there with GBH, but depends if it's section 18 or 20, section 18 is wounding with intent, I've seen the video and this has to be wounding with intent, if the gadge had swung a bottle instead of a knife he could have argued he didn't mean to cause as much an injury as he did, if he has been charged with the lesser section 20, the max sentence is 5 years.
This bloke who was stabbed was lucky the emergency services pulled up when they did.

Oh I know it's conservative policies that have set the stall for this, but Starmer started those policies when he was head of the CPS and letting nonses walk free like Saville etc

That's a WEF policy.

If you look at WEF political puppets that infest the western world their monoparty political policies are implemented regardless of the colour (red/blue) of the politican.

The climate con
Thought policing
Control of the media
Mass open border immigration
Soft on real criminals, particularly those of foreign heritage.
High tax
Big governments

And they have the brass neck to say you live in a democracy.

Starmer gloried in the speedy arrest and conviction rates in the so called far right protests yet remains silent on Notting hill parade and Harehills.

I can never comprehend how if you stab someone with a knife, it's not attempted murder.

Hound

Quote from: Francks left peg on August 27, 2024, 12:19:48 PMI can never comprehend how if you stab someone with a knife, it's not attempted murder.

Because although the outcome of the person being stabbed could lead to life threatening injuries,
The courts still needs to prove that the person doing the stabbing wanted the victim to die.

Francks left peg

You have stabbed someone with a knife...you want them to die!

go on what is indefensible?

I wonder what the media will do when one of their early releases kills or rapes someone.

That happens over here regularly now.  In particular the lefty DA policies that allow people charged with murder etc out without having to pay bail - who then reoffend while on bail.  Shameful.

Obviously, nasty tweets are worse than stabbing people.

I saw the video. Shocking. Was the guy who got stabbed OK? I saw him flat out on the pavement and he looked like he was losing a lot of blood.

Do gooders well on the way to ruining this country - but Blotty loves it here......

BoroRedKen

Im waiting for it to kick off in jails.

Would not be a prison officer for love nor money.

I dint know about you but I have had a great life, je ne regrette rien.

We are opposites I am glass half full, to you it is empty. I could not live the way you do putting everything down.

We wasted 4 points don't forget, to me we are 4 points better off than last year.

Gibson is a shite owner and runs a piss poor club to you, to me it's well run and gives me a lot of pleasure.

BoroRedKen

Why is it only half full?

Bloody Brexit.......

Slashed his neck, clearly attempting to slit his throat.

It's on video. It's not even questionable.

The club is better run on a daily basis now we have professionals running it and Gibbo seemingly letting them manage. That's the difference. It was a shit show when he was hands on completely. Still he is great for the club - our pricing structure for walk ups quite clearly shows this......

Blott

No it wasn't, we had a few very poor managers. I thought Strachan was the answer.

Monk had to be the biggest disaster.
