Tbh the male vs female debate (minus the name calling) is interesting i think. And its good to have a female perspective is a good thing. Just wish there was a few more to balance "debates" like that 1 more.

A woman to be a regular on here has to be either thick ( bearing in mind the abuse dished out to SG) or thick skinned( as SG to her credit is).

Not sure the environment would prove that appealing ( sadly)

Thats what we are trying to do. I call it a community not a forum but its not representative as a community.
I know a lot of strong willed females who love their footy also but they still "enjoy" Facebook to much!.

Thinking about things, Dana Malt gets criticised on other forums. I base my opinion on intelligence and market knowledge over sex of the contributer.

For the record I find her very knowledgeable and a person who can convey her opinions in a clear, concise manner.

Surely these attributes should override the sex of such a contributor?

Criticism is not always abuse,She's as bigoted as anyone else with her views and just as thin skinned .Personaly I'm indifferent about the make up of the board but you don't get a pass because you're a woman/old/lefty/ righty or any other catergory.

We agree. Criticism is valid. However what remains contentious is what levels are acceptable and what borders on abuse.

If SG reacts and bites back who can blame her? Who can say they wouldn't react in a similar manner?

I don't believe the board has had its finest moments in relation to the way some posters have behaved recently.
