Quote from: Ayton Mews on August 22, 2024, 10:44:55 PMI'm guessing you were around 12 years old at the time Erimus? What a time to really start supporting the Boro!

Haha, I'd been married one week leading up to this game v Port Vale, fortunately we couldn't afford a honeymoon or I would have missed the most important game in our history

I was guessing the 74 was when you were born, but I assume it's your wedding date now!

No Ayton, born in 1960. 74 is reference to my favourite season supporting the mighty Boro (1974)

Why 1974?
Surely there's been a few better since then, the beginning of the Robbo era were fantastic times for the club, and oh for those bloody 3 points, where would we be now?

You tell him, Hound. He's clearly wrong with his own personal preference of a favourite season.

Jesus, whoever is doing the nc500 with you must have the patience of mother Theresa.

Since your first game.
Since you were born.
Since you were married.
Yes married 44 years. Two brothers and a sister all married  over 50 years.
Bit strange for your two brothers to be married to your sister.

Are you from Skelton?   :pd:

I'm not sure I can be any clearer.

Well yes you can give me an example of said bollocks, I am as straight as a die, no need to lie.

Hound

Is it the motorhome?
Ok it's pretty old, about 10, but it's a motorhome

Ayton Mews

Can you elaborate on the stories about the nonces and grasses you've seen beaten up in prison?

Hound

Looking through my previous posts,
Really struggling to find any, "like Jay" made up bollocks,
You going to have to help me out. 👍🏻

What happened?

What did you see?

What prison were you in?

What were you in for?

When did you get out?

How many times have you been inside?

Edited your post now I see. A coward as well as a thief.

I don't know why you'd delete it. You only said you'd been in prison 8-10 times for theft and violence.

You're the one who quickly edited his post where you talked about the 10 times you've been in prison for theft and violence aren't you?

Hound

I'm always wary about being on these forums,
I was having a bit of banter with someone that I thought might have been miles away,
They only found out my IP address, email address, one of their mates had access to council tax database and they could've been knocking on my door 2 days later.
So now I don't say anything that I wouldn't say to anyones face, Just in case.

Quote from: Blott on August 22, 2024, 11:53:10 PMWe can argue about the best times, my first game was about 1966.

For me it has to be McLaren

And that is the bottom line Blott, for you McLarens time was the best

Tbf that came across more as curiosity than saying he's wrong imo

Considering you've come across as a bit of a lefty I thought you'd be a more empathetic person.

My partners car was broken into and had a load of fishing gear stolen, his mate was saying he hopes the person who did it dies.

I found it completely bizarre, could've been someone who hasn't had the benefit of a normal upbringing, someone desperate to feed their kids, doesn't make it right or any less shit, but doesn't make them a waste of oxygen.

Strange how people get on a high horse about being better than people with a criminal record, well done, great achievement, shows your privilege. People should talk to rehabilitated criminals, hear their life stories and see how they feel then.

I have worked with kids from families in extreme poverty and dire situations, who have been victims of grooming gangs, abused their whole lives, homeless at 16-17 through no fault of their own, and I can fully understand why some people turn to crime. These people have been failed, they're not failures.

Hound

No, these finger me to the moon posters soon show their true colours, I've no doubt people will be quick to call me to my face at the RR "coffee morning"
