35p in the pound R4.

Must of struck into itself in the stable before the race or something similar.

Shared ownership is becoming very decently priced. Mr Issacs? OTR knows his stuff re shared ownership and the nags.

Ken ,I audited a stable near Thirsk. The treatment of the horses was disgusting. I saw one lad who bite the horses ear, it squealed. Another lad through the water bucket onto a horses head.

I knew the lad who but the horse he had been at St Mary's with me.

I told my boss I refused to go the following year.

I tell you one thing, the horses are huge.

It went on Blotts i know. But equine welfare is paramount now in the game. CCTV, recordings, mobiles and inspections have stopped the majority of the disgusting treatment of some of the finest beasts on Earth.

good. I hope so. Beautiful animals, frightened me out my wits.

I only stayed on site one night, the place was filthy. I stayed in the local pub. I never had a car at the time.

Would of loved to have been around to pat the likes of Nijinksky, Golden Miller, Redrum, Troy, Grundy, Aldanti, Rag Trade etc etc etc.

Did get to pat Frankel once. He knew he was the daddy!

my dad lived for horse racing. He went wild when my mam rented a colour TV. Until he realised he could see the colours.

He could bore you to tears over Arkle and Hill House.

Boxing Day and Easter Monday they were his holy days.
