Good points.
Can beat a man
Helps out in defence.

Bad points.
Poor crossing
Poor finishing
Poor decision making.
Put him in midfield.⚽️

He's a half decent right wing back but we don't play with the cunts. Forss and Hamilton will push him to 3rd in the pecking order

Jones is good when he's on song, but stinks the place out when he has a bad run of form. What I like about how the squad is taking shape, is that we now have options up top in all positions. Jones Hamilton & Forrs has us looking healthy on right hand side. We defo need another LB, Giles would be nice if a deal can be done.

Hound

I've always thought he seems too blasé,
Yesterday prime example.

I'd sell him personally. If someone was daft enough to pay what we'd want

Drop him......makes bad decisions all over the pitch

Blott

Too early in the season for a boo boy.

I think he creates problems but without any end ball.

it was, I have no idea what he was trying to achieve.

But it's still very early doors.

One small mistake.. it's harsh to hang the whole result on Jones.

Very surprised Conway and Hamilton got on ahead of Coburn and Gilbert.

Keep calm and Carrick on.. we've started better than we did last season at least.

bi. Spot on. I like Jones. Okay he's got his faults but if his end product was good he'd be playing for Man Utd or Chelsea. One mistake doesn't make him a bad player and the fact that we had 70pc of the play but failed to score is not only his fault

New Division

He should have squared the ball to Bergzorg for a tap in to seal the game against Swansea last week , so that's two mistakes in two games. But like Blott says let's not get on his back . He still wears a red shirt

Kippers

His best games were with Crooksy.

Clem Fandango

I like him but he is in no way perfect.  I do like that we have depth and competition at most positions now to keep players on their toes.

that's a great point. Some players seems to know what the other is gong to do.

Clem Fandango

One issue affecting him is that we have limited attacking threat on the left.  Teams can load up defence against our right side limiting his space etc.  We need more balance in the team - it's the one area that stands out as needing a fix.

Also our crossing is crap from both sides.  Floaty crosses that the keepers can just come out and catch.  Maybe Giles is the answer on the left?  He may not be the best defender but he can certainly add threat and good crosses from the left and help open up our right side a bit.

If only we had a 6'3 striker to get on the end of those floaty crosses..

I'd call trying a 'no look' back pass from half way inside the opponents half when you are the last man and then miskicking it a pretty fucking massive mistake !

Would need to be 8'3" to get his head on any of Jones crosses (the ones that dont hit the first defender anyway)

Coburn and a step ladder might work.

Gingerpig

Far too lacksadasical ...when he's good he can be very good , but far too often piss poor decisions & a lack of practice on various delivery balls , which for a pro is fkin criminal .

Had a v good season where he & the Tree  were v good till they got sussed out ...has he improved ? for me no , very inconsistent at best

On the left, I would like to see Engel power on past the right back.
Instead yesterday, everytime he got the ball it was straight back.
