I do completely disagree with the concept of "owning" women and forcing women to cover up. That isn't the sole reason why women wear a niqab/hijab though.

I believe in women having the right to cover up if they choose, there's more to wearing a niqab/hijab than their husbands telling them so.

For example modesty, and being valued for their character rather than their physical appearance, being in control of their own representation in society. Resisting societal pressures of beauty and appearance.

Has anyone who is against the hijab/niqab ever spoken to a hijabi and asked their reasonings for wearing one?

if that's the case why have no British. European, USA decided to do it.

A bloke wrote a book in about 1500, by all accounts he was illiterate. The book said women should show modesty. later version toughened modesty. It's a tool of oppression.

Outdated by how long? Only a few years ago almost 10 million videos were culled from porn hub, one of the biggest names in porn, because the content couldn't be verified and some included child abuse material, sex trafficking and actual rape.

Even now "modern day" porn still includes rape fantasies, incest fantasies etc.

You are deluded if you think porn is "empowering" for women, who owns OnlyFans? Oh yeah, a man. How convenient for men that women now find porn empowering.
