Plenty on here passionate about politics, immigration  and other causes but have you hit the streets to back up your words.? I haven't and I can't think of a cause where I would.

Nope and doubt I ever will

I think the only time I would have but I'm too young would have been the Acid House Movement in the late 80s.

Blott

Years ago, when I was young enough to care. But without being nihilistic, it doesn't make any difference.

RiversideRifle

Nah. Dont do politics left right and all that shite. I only do right and wrong

When at Man Uni in the mid 80s the Student Union organised coaches to take students to Liverpool to protest against the Tories, they were giving out eggs to throw at Kenneth Baker.
I got a seat on one of the coaches with a couple of mates and we just went on the piss in Liverpool for the day and got the coach back. That's about as close as I got.

I did a similar thing for a £2 return bus to London. We went to the West Ham game. My mam came to the Albert Park pub at 10pm to lend me £10, which at the time was my weekly wage.

I went to one a few years back when the NHS was threatening to sack their staff if they didn't get the Covid jabs, big turn out, stayed peaceful

And flour?

TerryCochranesSocks

Possibly, I didn't keep the recipe.

newyddion

first one was a minimum wage march in Newcastle in the late 90's the last one was in 2021 against curbs on freedom of speech and assembly.

TerryCochranesSocks

Are you going back out now freedom of speech is being criminalised?

I believe the bill was passed despite the protest. I'm assuming though a lack of public support. Far too many people cut and pasting from twitter and using American YouTube language to mock and criticize groups that are fighting to defend our civil rights.

Fucking lefty cunts eh.. the great unwashed.. jobless gender bending rainbow hugging tofu eating prats.. they'd rather take a knee than.. err.. do something British.
