I think this is a decent political point. As a self declared lefty, apart from on Crime, I would agree with him. Not on Starmer who is 2 months into the job, not 14 years.

We need an opposition, the Torys let the sea lions run the zoo. One after the other milking the system. I don't know enough about Tory politicians to really comment, but a new broom is required.
