Good to see McGree back on the grass as they say.. hoping he can play a bigger part this season.

Lukas Engel has a few bangers brewing up in him!! Shades of a marauding George Friend in him.. still marred by that blip when he first joined and was thrown in at the deep end.

Aiden Morris might be really really good y'gnar!! Solid.. some nice touches, quick thinking, clever, covers a lot of ground.. ever has a sweet ping to his game. Aiden & Hayden! I've been worried about losing Howson.. Morris is defo next in line for the throne!

I thought Bergzorg was magic when he came on. Finch looks promising..

Still a bit wavy with Coburn. I'm a big fan and want him to do well.

Agree with all of that apart from Engel - he was gash all game. We are open as fuck on the left with him there

Jones was awful as well until he woke up in the last 10 minutes - turning into a bit of a luxury

Morris will be an absolute rock in midfield - unlucky not to score with the screamer that clipped the bar

Worrying that we were fluffing clear chances yet again, Lath and McGree main culprits

Overall sound though - Herenveen weren't bad but overall we deserved the win

We were open on the left. That was more down to Mcgree drifting all over the pitch and leaving Engel exposed. It's exactly the same when Azaz is playing in that role. That doesn't hide the fact that Engel was very poor again yesterday.

Big seasons for ELL & VDB, 2 players who excelled last season & can they produce again

Hope to see Burgzorg start, he's a player that excites me.
So chuffed McGree has committed himself to the club, with Howson, Hackney & Morris vying for two slots its looking exciting there,
Jones is still hit & miss for me but so vital due to his defensive role
Lenihan has to start, always good to have leaders on the pitch & along with Ayling, two leaders & talkers at the back

For me we have a good squad to consistently challenge the top 6, maybe more additions could see us challenge automatics, if we can eliminate the amount of silly goals we've conceded since Carrick arrived then we'll do really well
