Erimus some crackers here. For me, Cat Stevens represents a time when life was less complicated and intense!

Albeit at a time when - and no exaggeration- there was a civil war happening in Northern Ireland and themainland was under attack!

Take this out of the equation - not to be dismissed lightly- life really did appear both simple and less concern about violence. Unless you were a Boro Boot Boy or Frontliner!

It certainly appeared there was less grief in those days. The only knives around in general was what you ate food with. Images of a sexual nature? You had to buy the likes of Men Only, Playboy and Parade!

Could well be an illusion - but certainly life felt less complicated.......

Including the time when he proclaimed all music was 'Haram'?

Ah so the day the music died is about a specific even.. when Cat Stephens said all music was haram and all music stopped as a result.. everyday is a learning day. I'm glad he decided to turn it all back on (in most cases)

I think Daniel Bedingfield might be still haram
