The following seven candidates have been given Tory leadership packs after asking for them:

- Suella Braverman
- James Cleverly
- Priti Patel
- Robert Jenrick
- Kemi Badenoch
- Tom Tugendhat
- Mel Stride

Braverman either wins or defects to Reform.. Badenoch is the bookies favourite at 2/1 with the odds shortening.

Geoff_B

Braverman probably won't even run, her and stride will be first out.

I don't mind stride but I know from people I work with her is quite shy. So I don't think he will be around long

They should do away with the voting and just use your mucky sausage like some sort of Harry Potter sorting hat!

Watching GB & the excellent Martin Daubney program & soon to announce the latest tory leadership vote

Talk of James Cleverly favourite with Robert Jenrick in 2nd place
Kemi Badenoch in the final 3
With Tom Tugendhat dropping out

Votes
39 James Cleverly
31 Robert Jenrick
30 Kemi Badenoch

20 Tom Tugendhat is elimibated

Final two for me to be
James Cleverly & Kemi Badenoch

TerryCochranesSocks

They will borrow and lend votes between them to keep Kemi out of the final two. They know that the membership will vote her in and the two wets (Cleverly and Jenrick) will battle it out to lead a party that will, without a major turn to the right, go absolutely nowhere.

I honestly thought from the beginning that James Cleverly & Kemi Badenoch eere among 4 names that for me would be the final two, with Kemi winning the votes

Agreed. All three remaining candidates can fuck off also as far as I'm concerned, not one of them has came out and said they will leave the ECHR and they never will. Nothing will change if we keep voting Con/Lab, just rinse repeat but getting worse year on year. We need a change and I'm prepared to vote for Reform to get it. Fuck all all to lose, how can things get any worse than they are.

KEMI IS NOT AS FUCKING DAFT AS YOU THINK....BELIEVE ME 👍
GET WELL SOON STEVE G

Too Much Perspective

I hope it's Cleverly and Kemi for the membership vote, but I suspect Tugenhadt's supporters are wets, so she'll be out next round.

Geoff_B

Laughing at some of the comments otr one being about the membership being confused if there is no white candidate to vote for.... Coming from the party who have only ever elected a white middle aged man to be leader  :rudi2:

I've met James cleverly, albeit briefly and he came across as a throughly decent bloke, and not at all "dim".

Not sure how anyone call someone dim when they support someone who calls for the release of the sausages  :ray:

Fucking sausages!!  :rav:  :rav:

Too Much Perspective

I'd quite like to see a Kemi Badenoch v Angela Rayner contest for the next GE.

Must be nice to be perfect like one or two of those doing the calling

Didn't Cleverly make jokes about spiking a woman's drink with rohypnol and suggest the uk should hand back the chagos islands? 🤔

erimus74

Saying that, it's not like the odd one or two to name call someone they dont agree with
