Interesting to see their knowledge - but one notable omission. Munch Manship. Went to school in Guisborough many moons ago. Played with some pretty decent singers over the years.  Renowned sax player globally.Based in Manchester now, they obviously aren't aware of him.................

Great!

Are you a jazz fan Nosmo? I have tried but just dont get it tbh.

I cant remember the exact name but i found some "jamming" jazz quite enjoyable. It starts like they are all riffing a different tune.

Tradjazz? Dont think it was that..

BoroRedKen

I did have to read this thread title again.

I thought "Whats Baddad said now"?.......

Not a jazz fan Ken. Did know Munch although a few years older than me. Went to Ronnie Scott's once - and nearly fell asleep!@

I like to think i have given most types of music a go. A few i thought i would dislike turns out i can like certain songs etc from genres i would not normally have listened to.

Some of the stars he has backed are very middle of the road. Johnny Mathis springs to mind.

One of my favourites. I first heard this in Mandys when it was played by the legend that was Tony Hargan
