Going to "ban" (for most jobs) employees getting "contacted" by their employers after 9pm at night.

Jesus H Christ!

Riots on the streets. Protests all over the gaff. Good vs Evil.

When I was in the school, this happened regularly and you felt the need to check and reply to emails. Always seemed on the back foot if I didn't.

Just means that those willing to engage and go into work will be more likely to be promoted.

Then Labour will try to devise more legislation to combat that too.

Thinking more about it cant this be "organised" by the individual?.

I know its pointless contacting JT about here on a weekend.

Try and get hold of Lidds after 8.30pm!

Hmmm.....

Or do they just avoid me??.......

Cheers Norm!!

Depends on the job.People ringing from home to other people at home about office work is pointless , wait until you get back, lads at work ringing to check something when you were on shift is ok, I had to ring from work today to sort a GC problem with the analysis ,job done.

The lazy fuckers will be rubbing their hands at this,
I work in a 24/7 business and if I didn't answer my phone there would be a lot of unhappy people up and down the North East, I do get paid from the minute my phone rings though, I would guess people that won't be paid will simply turn off their phone or not answer.
