On reflection, it's the first time last night, when I've been in a boozer, and at the end people weren't too bothered. For me it's not about last night's result, it's the fact that we have such a talented pool of players, and we haven't tapped into their potential. Nobody is going to convince me that Spain are that much better than we are, never. The negative approach has seen us scrape through to a final, in a favourable draw, yet again. You all seen what happened when Watkins and Palmer came on, and how Spain were there for the taking, once we levelled up no? Well, if you didn't, I certainly did, and like France in the WC, we sat back again, and invited them on. That scenario was always going to play out and it always will under Southgate. I want a positive, forward thinking manager next, someone who isn't going to be in fear of what the opposition could do to us, but what we can do to them.

I'm still undecided. Never really cared about international football but watched all games of Euro and Copa.

England were lucky to get to the final that's for sure but they did it.  Kane yesterday was so woeful even my wife said he needs to get Kane off as he is doing nothing but standing waiting on the ball arriving at his feet.

Spain were decent the entire tournament and fully deserved to win.
