I half remember reading something a while back that suggested Michelle Obama could be unveiled as a candidate at the Democratic Convention this August 19 to 22.

Kamala Harris was supposed to be Biden's successor.. but she hasn't built up the levels of support that they expected.

There was something specifically about the Democratic Convention being the moment it could change.. ie as far as Michelle Obama is concerned.

I'm assuming it is that last stage of the process and the final seal of approval? Maybe a big vote there would make it happen or if Biden is forced to pull out.. that is where his successor would be unveiled.

This has been rumbling on for quite some time now.. The Democratic Convention has been mentioned a number of times and i'm assuming the plans are in place to oust Biden before then.. more than a dozen house senators have called for him to end his re-election bid at least one senator so far as well as donors/contributors voicing their disapproval.

There's more going on than meets the eye.. Kamal Harris is and should be the natural successor but there are huge doubts over her support and popularity.. nobody thinks she can beat Trump.

Michelle Obama was mentioned very early doors and so was this plan, her coming out saying she has no intention to run.. feels a bit like a big player about to make a move in the transfer window!

Joe Biden is toast.. he will be out of the running by the time the Democratic Convention rocks around. Kamal Harris with Roy Cooper as her running mate looks the most likely at the moment (from the outside looking in)

We could have a free for all at the Democratic Convention with Michelle Obama currently the most favoured to beat Trump in an Election she could very well be in the mix.. that's who I'd put my money on.. based purely on the amount of stories and whispers.. and denials lol

Andy Beshear has close ties with the Obamas I think.. so could be a possible running mate there.
