Finally seems to be getting talked about.

As a sufferer for a number of years its nice to hear people talking seriously about it.

I used to be so paranoid that i never spoke about it but that makes it so much harder to "live with".

My condition "arrived" after i was stabbed and slashed up. Before then i did not give a monkeys hoo haa about anything and nothing or any person bothered or worried me.

It is horrible to live in silence with. Thats why in essence im a "lone wolf".

Bipolar is "thought" to be screaming and madness (yeah thats me!) But it can also lead to massive lows. Locking yourself away etc.

Yes. lived with it for nearly 30 years (diagnosed about 10 yrs ago).

It used to be awful "untreated". Going into my bubble gets me through the bad times (it got bad for 6 months after Carmen passed) but im finding some peace and solace with life lately so its few and far between.

Only issue with people knowing is that when i kick off its automatically put down as an "episode" and not that the fact that they have just pissed me off!

My noticeable "manics" are when i totally go off on a tangent and try to talk about 5 different things at once. But when i see the "confusion" in peoples eyes i know i need to "chill". So that works for me.

Faye Dunaway, Catherine Zeta Jones, Mariah Carey, Mel Gibson, Russell Brand, Brian Wilson, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix was diagnosed after he'd been dead for a while etc.etc.
I get the impression that a lot of celebs wear a Bipolar (self) diagnosis like a must have accessory, like having a trans kid.
