My neighbour has been retired for the last 5 years but after a messy divorce, he's now struggling financially.

He's been looking for work for 9 months but at his age he is finding employment a hard task.

He has a motor, nothing too big or extravagant but it gets him from a to b.

I suggested a courier job with Amazon or One of the other courier companies.

Local shops another suggestion.

What would you suggest?

He is fit and able.

UTB

Ayton Mews

B&Q / Wickes etc?

Depends what he's into

Tell him to give one of the Amazon warehouses a try. I'm told they don't do age discrimination.

Fucking knew I'd get sensible answers on here.

I dunno Ken, my friend Dawn was forced to go back to work by the social and she got a job in a shop in Stockton. She was around 60 at the time.

She's full time now. Retirement age in 3 years.

Must have racked up some quality pension ?  Unless she took most of that as well. Bad time of life to get divorced like.
