From the start, John, Lids and myself were willing to pay the costs of this forum along with yourself. Each of us paying a quarter of a year.
We knew it wasn't a lot, and it would've eased things for you.

You decided that you wanted to do things yourself, after all, it is your baby.

I have a strict budget for RR to keep it non commercial( would make next to nothing anyways). So when space is needed its either cut some costs or sticking hard fast to deleting threads if they are not posted in for say 30 days.

And when i make a mistake when tidying up "all hell breaks loose". So fuck that.

Music and pics shouldn't be using up much bandwidth on this site Ken. As you're not actually hosting them on here.

when you post a song it's just a link to YouTube, which is where it's hosted. Same with pics - you put in the URL of where the pic is hosted, rather than actually uploading it to here

It's probably all your smiley gifs that is eating up all the bandwidth. Every time someone posts one it's another image / gif you're having to host

I was fairly sure they're just embedded links - hence why you have to insert the YouTube URL rather than actually upload a song

I shall take a screenshot from the hosts and that will show everybody the package and allowances we are signed up for then it will make more sense.

Its like using you data allowances on your mobile when you go over it. You get charged per byte over your allowance.

There are 3 packages available. Like gold silver and bronze. Obs the better package the more it costs.

Now where RR is concerened its just not viable to sign up for the gold package. The allowances are just too much and the price does jump up a lot. Its not about the "costs" its about keeping RR chugging along without it becoming more costly than it needs to be.
