I remember years ago a lass stopped me in town. She'd been mugged and needed £3.50 to get back to Marton Manor. A week or so later, I saw her again - and the exact same thing had just happened to her again!

Ken what you are saying about saving that young girl & the previous job you had before a no mark ended that shows to me what a real person you are that I would say, are few & far between & I say that in a good way

We would all like to say we would do both things you have done but when a shove comes to a push, will we & I count myself in that

I'd be very reluctant to step in now. 18 months ago 2 17yo dickheads full of beer and coke went for a 73yo regular in my local after sneaking in the fire exit to get to the bogs. Couldn't stand by and watch that but I ended up with my shoulder broken in 5 places. After an initial scuffle which I thought was over,  one ran back and walloped me in the side of my head from behind and got stamped on and kicked while I was down.

If it happened again, I would hope someone else took their turn to step in. I've done my shift for that. Shoulder will never fully recover and still causes pain
