I see that Mike Ashley is closing the old Psyche store.I liked it when Stevie Cochrane used to own it.Bought a fair bit of stuff from there in the past.It went downhill when Ashley bought it out.Used to enjoy going into Sliced Tomatoes in Redcar as well.

It was never gonna last under Mike Ashley.. bought a whole bunch of cool British brands and just churns a load of shot out now.

Him and Newcastle were perfectly suited.

Steve Cochrane brought something very cool to Middlesbrough high street and nobody really seemed to follow suit.. the council perfecting 'the Parmo mile' to plan for anything decent.

Obviously online shopping has hit the retail sector.. but jeez! Linthorpe Road is properly shit now.

Always has nice clothes in there, bought a nice pair of brown lace up shoes for my daughters wedding 5 years ago
The box containing the shoes had each shoe wrapped in a little cloth bag, which they still are. How is that for neatness!

Sliced Tomatoes in Redcar was SC's 1st shop.
