When the season kicks off in August it will be 30 years since we started our final season at our famous ground





In With the Lurpak

Bald patches in the last picture , I take it people got the chance to take away certain parts of the pitch like the penalty spots , corner sections and kick off area ? Or was that bald patch where the demolition portacabin was sat  :charles:

They had diggers & heavy machinery standing there

So no one dug up a nice square section around the penalty spots and laid them in their own gardens at home. Surprised at that like.

Aparently red noses house stands where the holgate penalty spot was,, I don't know if this is true or not

Some choice bits were auctioned off at ££ per sq metre.

I waited till the demo men went in and helped myself.

Still got it in the back garden, but no idea where!

You might be right. I thought he got the bit of turf with the penalty spot on. Maybe both are true.
