Just teach them respect like you guys have mate... Maybe some sort of training while they are in there!! This is no excuse, but there is nothing out there for them now, when I left school we went straight onto a "Youth Training Scheme" for 2 years, I think thats what maybe gave me my work ethic, even though I am out of work at the moment (my choice).Some kids come out and don`t even go to College (their choice).... If they were made to go into National Service then they wouldn`t be these little scroats roaming the streets and getting upto all kinds of shite...

Good question Norman..... What did they do years ago if they refused, what do other countries do if they refuse??? You are obviously going to get that. Maybe they need some sort of monetry insentive/bonus!! It is not that long back both Labour and the Conservatives wanted to raise the aspirations and Education standards of young people to bring them in line with the rest of Europe.  Now it is classed as them wasting their time at Universities and the Tories want them to do National Service. 

Call me sceptical, but do you think it might have something to do with what is going on with Russia and that the army is poorly prepared and undermanned due to cuts?  I wonder if these leaders will allow their sons and daughters join the army.

Yes the country is fucked, but it is not just under 14 years of the Torys (although that hasnt helped) Its previous goverments as well... And can`t see what a Labour goverment is going to do to make it any better..... And imo its got fuckall to do with Russia that our youth is out of control!!Cuts upon Cuts have played a massive part in it.... If raising taxes goes to give our youth a decent start in life then I am all for it!!! But will Labour do it?? I dont think so.. #bringbacknationalservice
